Shivaratri
Tuesday February 25, 2025 - Wednesday February 26, 2025
The “Night of Shiva” is celebrated on the day before the new moon in late February or early March, when the moon is furthest from Earth, a time to worship God the Absolute. In 2025 an all-night puja begins at sunset on , Tuesday February 25 (dark of the moon) and continues with chanting in praise of Lord Shiva until the morning of Wednesday February 26 at sunrise. During the puja there are five periods of worship, each followed by prasad. More details will be provided in the month preceding the festival.
Hanuman Jayanti
Friday April 11, 2025 through Sunday April 13, 2025
Hanuman Jayanti is Hanuman’s birthday celebration. It will be celebrated prior to the first full moon in spring which occurs on Sunday April 13, 2024, therefore the ashram will be celebrating Hanuman Jayanti on the weekend preceding the full moon.

The ashram is planning to hold an in-person festival celebrating Hanuman-ji’s birthday! Hanuman Chaleesa chanting will begin on Friday, April 11 at 1:08 p.m. and end at 1:08 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Aarti will be offered followed by bhandara.

GURU PURNIMA

The Guru is honored on the full moon in July, when the moon is closest to the Earth, the time to worship God in form.
The sacred time to honor God in form at the ashram will begin on
Wednesday, July 9th at 1:08 p.m. with 24-hour Maha Mantra chanting through
Thursday, July 10th. 1:08 p.m. Aarti followed by Bhandara Prasad

Maharaj-ji’s Mahasamadhi Bhandara

Neem Karoli Baba’s Mahasamadhi was on September 11, 1973, the day before the full moon in September. This date was called Anant Chaturdashi, one of the most auspicious moon dates in the Hindu calendar.

Navaratri
Monday, September 22 - Wednesday, October 1, 2025
Each Night of Navaratri, the puja will begin with Om Jay Jagadish Aarti in the
Darshan Hall at 6:45 PM followed by a fire puja at the Dhuni.
At 7:00 PM the Puja to the Devi’s will be held in the Darshan Hall.
Festivities begin each evening at sunset. Navaratri lasts nine nights with worship of Ma Durga, the Goddess of Courage; Ma Lakshmi, the Goddess of Prosperity; and Ma Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge. The nine nights of Durga Puja are celebrated from the first till the tenth day of the bright half of the lunar month of Ashvin, which occurs in 2025 from Monday, September 22 to Wednesday, October 1, 2025. On the tenth day, Thursday October 2nd, the Goddess made of clay is lovingly immersed in the Rio Grande River. Details of the Puja in 2024 will become available in the months preceding the festival.
