Shivaratri / February 25, 26
The “Night of Shiva” is observed the night before the new moon in late February or early March. In 2025, the all-night puja begins at sunset on Tuesday, February 25, and continues with chanting and worship of Lord Shiva until sunrise on Wednesday, February 26. The puja includes five periods of worship, each followed by prasad. Additional details will be shared closer to the date.
Hanuman Jayanti / April 11–April 3
Hanuman Jayanti celebrates the birth of Lord Hanuman and is traditionally observed before the first full moon of spring. In 2024, the ashram will celebrate on the weekend preceding the full moon, with specific event details to follow.
Guru Purnima / July 9, 10
Guru Purnima honors the Guru, celebrating the full moon in July when the moon is closest to Earth. This sacred time is dedicated to worshiping God in form, with offerings and devotion to the Guru.
Maharaj-ji’s Mahasamadhi Bhandara / September 5–7
Neem Karoli Baba’s Mahasamadhi is observed near the full moon in September. In 2025, the ashram will commemorate this sacred event with devotion and prasad. The date aligns with Anant Chaturdashi, one of the most auspicious moon dates in the Hindu calendar.
Navaratri / September 22 – October 1
Navaratri is a nine-night celebration honoring the Devi. Each evening, puja begins at 6:45 p.m. with Om Jay Jagadish Aarti in the Darshan Hall, followed by a fire puja at the Dhuni. At 7:00 p.m., puja to the Devis continues in the Darshan Hall.
