Neem Karoli Baba Ashram

Prasad Dining Hall Project

Ram Ram,

By the grace of Maharaj-ji, Hanuman, and the many generous supporters of this project, fundraising for the Dining Hall has been going very well. So far, just over $541,000 of the $850,000 goal has been raised. This puts the Ashram in a position to begin construction as soon as the permitting process is complete.

Because the Ashram is under Special Use zoning, the permitting process is more involved than a standard building permit. Each new structure or expansion requires a more detailed review, including notification and input from neighboring properties within a certain distance of the Ashram. This process can add several months to the approval timeline.

We had hoped that a Special Use review would not be necessary, based on prior approvals, but the County of Taos has informed us that it is required. The process is now underway, and if all goes smoothly, we are hopeful that the permit will be approved by fall of 2026, with construction beginning shortly thereafter.

As always, everything at the Ashram unfolds by Baba’s grace and in His time.
